10 things you shouldn't forget to pack for a sleepover

ree

A child's first sleepover is a big milestone in their life - a right of passage even. But as fun as a night away from mum and dad with their besties may seem, in reality it can also cause a fair bit of anxiety for your child (and you too).

To make sure a sleepover goes as smoothly as possible and to avoid any midnight phone calls for you to come and collect your child, you need to make sure they have packed all the sleepover essentials so they can feel as comfortable as possible.

While PJ's are a given, what about snacks, toiletries and a torch?

Here is Kaboom Parties ultimate list of things you shouldn't forget to pack for a sleepover.

  1. Pajamas

  2. Sleeping bag and pillow

  3. Change of clothes and undies

  4. Favourite teddy

  5. Snacks (who doesn't love a midnight feast)

  6. Toiletries and hair brush

  7. Torch (if they are too young for a phone)

  8. Oodie - for all their comfort needs

  9. Medication, contact, inhalers, glasses

  10. Phone charges & ear phones - how else will they take selfies if their phone goes flat?
